Our Origins

Barrington Media Group was started in 2003 by Peter Stavisky. Pete started out with the theory that he could achieve great media efficiencies by buying large blocks of network inventory upfront and selling the time back to his clients. He pretty much fell into the world of PI as a backstop or hedge against his large upfront network buys. If he ever found himself with unsold inventory he could plug the holes with clients that ran their media strictly on a cost per call basis. Barrington’s PI based client list grew quickly and the BMG performance model began to really take shape.

And Now

We have spent years perfecting our model and have grown into the leading performance based radio group in the US. We work with a diverse range of clients all with different goals and targets.  No matter what the campaign structure is…performance based…branded response…retail support…host endorsement…we apply our deep understanding of new customer acquisition to everything we do to help all of our clients grow their businesses.
